Radio in Ecuador: participation and pluriformity

Local radio stations in Latin America play a stimulating part in Indian emancipation processes. ALER, the Latin American Association for Radio Education in Quito, uses a network of correspondents and local radio stations to compile cultural radio programmes that are transmitted by satellite to some one hundred radio stations throughout Latin America.

Aina uses media and culture for development and reconstruction

African youth make scripts for AIDS films

The idea of letting African youth write their own film scripts to provide information about AIDS was born in 1997. Since then, 105,000 young Africans from 37 countries have participated in scenario contests.
